i wish it was not in my nature to accept every idea just for the sake of it. there's not even a moral explanation behind it. isn't it false advertising to claim that your god takes humanity as they are, no strings attached? there are conditions: a human must personally accept this higher power and know this higher power. it's not unconditional. we can't create a guise for purposes of harmony. every time a follower proposes that there are other roads, not just one very narrow, exclusive one, they are judged weak. i am labeled pitifully idealistic or dumb. simple. it's true. because if you will give me any credit at all, i know when someone is dissonant with me. i feel it so scorched into my skin that i wish to accept you, him, her, everyone, to avoid feeling your heat, his heat, her heat. this is how i go about my life.

sammi's thought-out notes, saira's concern for my family and her tolerance when i become overly amused by her hilarity, melissa's asking me to join her in her crazy impulses, sam lu's secret azn powers and kindness to let me (and anthony) into her home when we need it, marla's persistent jokings of adam sandler skits that never get old. stuff like that comes from like BAM IN YO FACE amazin people. back it up!
